Hello, I am the owner of Little University, LLC. I am a graduate of Arcanum High School, with an AAS from Sinclair Community College. I have been married to my husband, Kevin, for 26 years and we have 4 children and 10 grandchildren. Opening Little University, LLC is a second career for me and has truly been my biggest leap of faith and the community has been extremely supportive through this whole process. Since opening in 2018, the need for childcare in Arcanum and surrounding areas has surpassed my imagination. I have always thought of Little University as a support for families, as I feel the importance of a team effort is key to raising children in the area. My philosophy has always been “it takes a village”, this business has helped me repay my community and the helping hands that helped me as a single mother years ago. Happily married with five children. I have worked as a caregiver, and have had many years in management. I love my job here at Little University, because I enjoy helping a small business expand and grow to its full potential. Hobbies are hiking, and spending time with my family.

Hello, I have been here with Little University since June of 2020. I started as a floater and was in multiple different rooms with all different age groups. As of September of 2020 I have been in the senior class and am now the lead. I absolutely love the room and the kids. I love teaching and watching all the kids grow. I can’t wait to see what the next up coming years will bring!

Hello! My name is Kris. I have been at Little University since July 2023 and work part time in the kitchen doing food prep, dishwashing, and delivering meals and snacks to the classrooms. I enjoy working here and getting to know all the kids and watching them grow and learn. I have lived in the Arcanum area all my life and have been married for 36 years. I am the proud mom of 2 great kids and our dog Toby.

Hello there! My name is Susan. I have 19 years experience as a teaching assistant in early childhood education. I have a son, a daughter and four beautiful grandchildren one girl and 3 boys. I love watching them play sports and just spending time with them. I love the outdoors and long walks and bike rides. I also love working in my flower beds. During the winter months I read, knit and do puzzles. My favorite part of Little University is the wonderful staff and playing games with the children.
